focusing different views

Hello, it's me again :-)

I've run into a new problem I can't get around. Let's suppose I have two
different BaseViews, which have two distinct toplevel Window, and that I
want at some time (after a certain event) make a certain one gain focus.

I used to use the present() method in 'raw' gtk programming. But even if I
employ it on the window I want, it doesn't seem to work with kiwi - although
the callback is executed and no error or warning is raised, the window
doesn't gain focus.

I tried focus_toplevel() on the view itself, but that doesn't seem to work
either.

Any clue?
