Looking at Kiwi

Hello,

Recently I started looking at pygtk, and just as I started to get the
hang of it and wondering how I should organize my code...I looked around
and discovered Kiwi.

How is Kiwi looking these days?  It doesn't look like a buzz of frenetic
development.  Possibly it is stable and works...or possibly it has been
quietly winding down of late.  (Or possibly it is unfairly ignored
because it isn't "web".)

Is Kiwi recommended for new projects by newbies?
