Aloisio was born on January 16th, 1930.  Aloisio's father was Antônio da Silva Carvalho and his mother was Teresa Rodrigues Brandão.  His paternal grandparents were Aprigio da Silva Carvalho and Elisa Pinheiro da Silva; his maternal grandparents were Joaquim Augusto Suzano Brandão and Maria do Carmo (Vovó Maroca) da Fonseca Rodrigues.  He was the youngest of eight children.  He had five brothers and two sisters, named Aprigio, Ary Rubem, Armando, Antônio Carlos, Augusto, Alayde and Aline.  He died at the age of 76 on December 22nd, 2006.
